Joshua showcased his diverse talents in his debut feature film, Buckshot, where he served as writer, director, and producer. The film's exceptional performance led to five prestigious awards, including Best Feature and Best Actor (Tim deZarn), at the Culver City Film Festival. Not stopping there, Joshua's achievements extended to winning the People's Choice Award at the Rockport Film Festival and earning the title of Best Director at the Marina Del Rey Film Festival.

His proficiency also shines through his work in short films and documentaries, which garnered widespread acclaim, notably earning the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival and qualifying for The Academy Awards.

Beyond his directorial accomplishments, Joshua's prowess as a feature film producer is evident in his contributions to other award-winning feature films, such as Pretty Ugly People (starring Melissa McCarthy and directed by Tate Taylor) and Kabluey (featuring Lisa Kudrow).
